We Take Great Pride Building A Plan That Fits the Individual Needs of the Client
It’s a Balancing Act
When we go to build a plan, we’re doing it with as many products as we can, to ensure that we get the one that best fits your needs. It’s a balance of budget, needs, and understanding that goes into every quote… and none are cookie-cutter plans. Insurance brokers have a responsibility to get licensed, and learn up on as many different products as they can, to further allow for customization of their client’s needs when presented with the opportunity. Because we are all so different in this world, it creates a situation where one size does NOT fit all…! Because of that, brokers need to be versatile, and must have the ability to see the big picture, and make judgments on the direction that must be taken in order to make their clients happy. And obviously the more knowledge and understanding that we have, the better we will be able to create a unique plan that works specifically with the current client we are assisting with.
Creating The Quote
Once we have your information, we present that information to the insurance carriers. A lot of time it involves us putting the information into a computer system – Like National General’s system, and then calculating what combination of benefits at your price range you can afford. There’s nothing secret or proprietary about how we create these quotes. If you follow THIS LINK here, you will be able to see exactly what I see, and be able to create a quote just like we do. Like I’ve said before – it’s not the access to the plans that is the reason you work with someone like me… it’s the EXPERIENCE! The more experience we have, the more we know how to combine certain benefits to limit the amount of financial responsibility that you are responsible for when actually visiting the doctor!
There are so many directions we can go when determining what type of insurance to get for you. If you need Obamacare for whatever reason, we will start enrolling you in one of their plans. Then, we look at the details, and whatever gaps we find in your marketplace plan coverage, we seek to fill those gaps with other ancillary insurance plans to help limit your out of pocket expenses. The biggest add-on we always recommend is an accident protection rider… which limits the amount of financial responsibility if you are hurt or inured at any time.
Presenting The Quote
Once we have found a few plans that you qualify for, and that are available in your zip code, then we start compiling a quote sheet much like this one here, and then send this quote to you for you to review. What I usually do is create two quotes – once that has the bare essentials, then one that may have additional insurance protection in case you would like a little more once I present the plans. This allows you the option to choose what you would like to have or what you’d not like to have.
The rest is pretty self-explanatory. Once you have chosen a plan, we enroll you as soon as we can. This locks in your rate, and makes sure your insurance can start as soon as possible. I recommend you reach out to me whenever possible, to go over your options. You may find that there’s more options out there than you previously thought…!
